Fish fillet with an almond crust for slimming

A tasty fish dish is just as much a part of the Christmas season as a hearty roast. This quick meal for slimming is also low in carbohydrates and therefore fits perfectly into your weight loss diet. So if you want to lose weight without giving up delicious food, this recipe is for you!

You will need the following ingredients for this low carb recipe:

  • 350g white fish fillet
  • 100g green beans
  • 1 tomato
  • 30g green olives
  • 2 tbsp. chopped almonds
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 tablespoons breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tsp rosemary
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • A pinch of salt and pepper

And this is how to prepare the low carb fish fillet recipe:

Preheat oven to 180 degrees.

Wash and dry the fish fillet.

Dice the tomato into small cubes. Peel and finely chop the garlic. Finely chop the olives.

Mix the tomato, garlic, rosemary and olives with the butter, almonds, breadcrumbs and egg yolk and season the mixture with salt and pepper.

Oil your baking/casserole dish. Place the fish in the dish, season with salt and pepper and drizzle some lemon juice over it.

Spread the breadcrumb mixture over the fish and bake for 15-20 minutes until the fish is cooked.

In the meantime, cook the beans in salted water. Arrange and enjoy.
