Über Simeon:
Simeon completed his bachelor’s degree in sports science at the Eberhard Karls University in Tübingen, where he is also completing his master’s degree. His focus is on sports science, health care and sports medicine. As a research assistant in the Department of Sports Medicine at the University Clinic of Tübingen, he was already able to gain practical experience in performance diagnostics and in the area of rehabilitation and prevention training. In addition, for several years he has been an active trainer in youth football and was already the trainer of a company sports group.
His personal interests lie primarily in the areas of sports medicine, health and competitive sports and sports psychology. He wrote his bachelor’s thesis on emotional intelligence in amateur football. He is also interested in establishing connections between the disciplines and using them to explain phenomena from sports science. For example, the question of the extent to which an active lifestyle can be influenced by psychological factors and where the limits lie. He is also very interested in football. He has been playing at an ambitious level since childhood and has already won two international tournaments with his university team.
At Upfit, Simeon is responsible for all topics related to motivation, sports and exercise.
