In the Shopping Lists you can see odd values for certain foods. This is because we want to make it as easy as possible for you to prepare. For example, honey is easier to measure in teaspoons (TL), but only available in grams (g).
All weights in the recipes apply to foods in the raw (uncooked) state. For quantities that do not include grams or milliliters, the approximate weight in grams is also given in parentheses – so you know how many grams, for example, is in an average banana. Basically, all amounts of food are optimized to your weight goal.
Unfortunately, the custom-made Meals are not 100% compatible with all commercially available packaging sizes and quantities. So it’s important that you try to buy the quantities listed on the grocery list for perishable foods – with meat, for example, you can weigh the exact amounts at the meat counter or at the butcher’s. If that does not work, please freeze the excess food and thaw it later for future meals.
You can also adjust the number of portions of each Meal to cook for the partner, the children, or guests. Please keep in mind that any change to this option will also require a change to your shopping list and the people you cook with will have to cope with a calorie amount optimized for you.
