At Upfit, we customize your plan to suit you and your eating habits. This means that all suggested recipes perfectly match your nutritional needs, while also taking into account your eating preferences and intolerances.
As a result, similar recipes are often suggested to you on consecutive days (or weeks). This is because your needs change over time, for example, if you have already lost some weight or built up muscle mass. However, we are constantly adding new recipes to our database, so you can always cook something different and fun.
If you are not satisfied with your selection, you can easily make the following adjustments yourself:
- Use the Favourites and Alternatives functions
- Use the food preferences feature (favorite and exclude)
- Change the number of meals
(For example, if you want to eat 5 meals a day and lose weight at the same time, calorically smaller meals will be suggested and a large number of meals will be automatically excluded.
Other factors that limit your meal choices are as follows:
- Diet type – You’ll get the most suggestions with a classic diet.
- Intolerances – Again, a few recipes will be eliminated from the selection.
- Excluded foods – Some dishes are unthinkable without certain foods and thus fall out of the selection.
Ask yourself:
- Do these foods all need to be excluded from my plan?
- Have I indicated an intolerance only because I don’t like a certain food and am I limiting myself more than I realized?
… and feel free to adjust your plan again so that it really includes all the foods you can eat.
