The speed of weight loss success is individual and thus different for each person. Upfit’s nutritional Plans are designed as a long term dietary change, as experience has shown that so-called “crash diets” only work in the short term. Our Plans are designed to help you lose weight, and maintain your weight loss in the long run. If you want to achieve and maintain your goal weight, give your body enough time to adapt to your new, healthier lifestyle. More information about the “weight loss plateau” can be found here.
In addition to following your nutrition Plan, check out your other habits: are you getting enough exercise? Are you getting enough sleep? Do you drink enough water? A lot of stress, and not enough sleep can affect individual success, as can the menstruation cycle for women. Try to optimize your everyday habits. We highly recommend incorporating more exercise into your daily routine to increase your calories burned, not to mention your sense of well-being. We recommend a combination of endurance training and muscle training. Regular endurance training burns extra calories. Targeted muscle training causes you to build up muscles that, conversely, burn more calories-even when your at rest!
If you have been part of the Upfit family for some time and haven’t achieved your desired success, we recommend giving your body a little time to change. Your Plan will take into account the fluctuations of weight loss and will therefore vary your calorie count from day to day.
